Geographic Information Systems Specialist at Gainesville Regional Utilities

Brittany Neihaus has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Brittany started their career as an Entomological Technician at Volusia County Mosquito Control in July 2016. Later, they joined Gainesville Regional Utilities in March 2017 as a Process Plant Operator. After working there for two years, they transitioned to GRUCom in October 2019, where they served as a GIS Technician until April 2023. Currently, Brittany is employed by Gainesville Regional Utilities as a Geographic Information System Specialist starting from April 2023, continuing their career in the GIS field.

Brittany Neihaus has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida. Brittany also holds a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems for Urban and Regional Planners from the same university. In addition, Brittany has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Florida, as well as an Undergraduate Certificate in Geospatial Information Analysis. Furthermore, they have obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2022.
