Eric Neihaus, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Eric began their career at Caterpillar Inc. in 2005, where they served as an Engineer for almost nine years. In 2014, they joined FLS Energy as an Energy Systems Engineer before transitioning to Gainesville Regional Utilities in 2015. At Gainesville Regional Utilities, Eric held various roles including Performance Engineer, Operations Manager, and currently, they serve as a Planning Engineer. Overall, Eric has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in energy systems and has consistently demonstrated their engineering skills throughout their career.

Eric Neihaus, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, attending from 2002 to 2005. Eric then pursued higher education by enrolling in the Florida State University - College of Business from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.

In addition to their academic achievements, Eric Neihaus, P.E. has also obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the State of Florida in January 2019.
