Ricardo Chu has extensive work experience in the field of IT and database administration. Ricardo is currently working as the IT Director of Technical Services at Gainesville Regional Utilities since August 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of IT Infrastructure Design and Administrator Architect at the same company from October 2020 to August 2021.

Ricardo completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Programming and Finance from the University of South Florida from 1985 to 1989. Most recently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from the University of West Florida, which they are expected to complete by 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Ricardo has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge.
