Travis Cober

Travis Cober is an accomplished leader in claims management with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Claims at GAINSCO since June 2024, Cober previously held significant roles at USAA, including Assistant Vice President of Claims, where responsibilities included transforming the auto and property claims operating model and leading multiple strategic initiatives that realized significant financial benefits. Prior experience at GEICO includes serving as Assistant Vice President of Claims, overseeing substantial premium portfolios and leading the Midwest division, as well as directing the Massachusetts Claims department. Cober's early career included various management roles at GEICO, focusing on process improvement, claims accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Cober holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Virginia Wesleyan University.
