Dave Swarthout

Dave Swarthout is currently the SVP and General Counsel at Gainsight, where Dave also serves as the Data Protection Officer. Additionally, Dave is a Charter Member at TechGC, an exclusive community for General Counsels to share knowledge and support each other. Prior to their current roles, Dave worked as the Chief Legal Officer at Monetate, Inc., focusing on corporate development, commercial transactions, data privacy, employment law, corporate governance, and licensing. With a background in law from St. John's University School of Law, Dave has a wealth of experience in various legal roles at companies such as Codexis, Inc., Shearman and Sterling LLP, Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, and Pryor Cashman LLP.
