Andrew Greaves

Andrew Greaves has had an extensive career in the software development and consulting industries. Andrew began their career in 2007 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Lancaster University. Andrew then took on the role of PhD Student at Lancaster in the same year, researching interaction using projector phones. In 2008, they took on a role as Campsite Zone Manager at Festival Republic, where they were responsible for the safety of over 2000 people and the management of various staff. In 2009, they became a Software Consultant at the Knowledge Business Centre Lancaster University. From 2013 to 2014, they held the role of Director at Bear Development & Consultancy Ltd. Finally, from 2014 to present, they have held the roles of Assistant Director of Development and Senior Software Developer at Gaist.

Andrew Greaves completed a BSc Hons in Computer Science from Lancaster University from 2003 to 2006. Andrew then went on to receive an MSc (Distinction) in Mobile & Ubiquitous Computing from the same university in 2006-2007. Following this, they obtained a PhD in Computer Science - Embedded Interactive Systems from Lancaster University in 2007-2011.
