Eduardo Romero is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment management and real estate. Currently serving as Partner and Managing Director at Galapagos Capital since October 2022, Eduardo plays a key role on the US Real Estate Investment Committee. Eduardo also contributes to the CPA Real Estate Fund as a member of the Real Estate Fund Investment Committee at Skandia Colombia. Prior roles include Principal at Acento Real Estate Partners, where Eduardo led US accounts and ESG initiatives, and Associate Partner at BTG Pactual, where significant achievements were made in real estate and alternative investments. Eduardo co-founded North Shore Venture Partners and held senior positions at various financial institutions such as Bank of America and CHG. Eduardo holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and has completed several executive education programs at prestigious institutions including MIT and Harvard Business School, along with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
