Sergio Zanini

Sergio Zanini is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in trading and investment management. Currently serving as a Partner at Galapagos Capital since September 2019, Sergio previously co-founded SAGMO Capital, a macro hedge fund acquired by Galapagos. Prior roles include Head of International Markets Trading at Itau BBA, Portfolio Manager at BlueCrest Capital Management, and Executive Director at UBS. Sergio also worked as a Trader at RBC Capital Markets and took a sabbatical in 2017. Education includes studies at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing and Boston College Carroll School of Management.
