Teo Bastos

Teo Bastos currently serves as the COO for Emerging Markets Macro at Galapagos Capital since September 2023. Prior to this role, Teo held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Investor Relations at Gauss Capital from September 2018 to July 2023. Teo's career also includes significant experience at Credit Suisse, where responsibilities included risk management analysis and operations, spanning from March 2011 to January 2019. Earlier roles featured a macroeconomic analyst position at Opus Investimentos and an operations analyst role at Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo. Teo holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
