Leith B.

Chief Operating Officer at Galapagos Federal Systems

Leith B. has extensive work experience in various roles within the Army and other organizations. Leith started their career in 1990 as a Battalion Signal Officer in 3-82 FA, followed by a role as SIGO in 1st Cav from 1991 to 1993. Leith then served as Brigade Signal Officer in 525 MI Brigade from 1995 to 1997. In 1999, Leith joined USTRANSCOM as Chief, Network Operations until 2002. Leith continued their career in the Army, serving as Battalion Commander 25th Signal Battalion, 160th Signal Brigade, Qatar, from 2003 to 2004, and as Deputy Brigade Commander 35th Signal Brigade, Fort Bragg NC, from 2004 to 2006. From 2007 to 2011, Leith held various roles, including TRADOC Capability Manager for Satellite and Network Extension and G3, 7th Signal Command, where they were responsible for overseeing the development and management of communication systems and networks. Most recently, Leith served as the Chief Operating Officer at Galapagos Federal Systems since November 2019.

Leith B. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Martin from 1980 to 1985. In 1998, Leith attended Webster University, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Telecommunications Management. Additionally, from 1998 to 1999, Leith attended the Command and Staff College. In 2006, Leith completed a Master of Strategic Studies degree at the US Army War College.
