Akanksha Mittal

Akanksha Mittal is a seasoned medical affairs leader with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Head of US Medical Affairs for Immunology at Galderma since March 2024, Akanksha is responsible for the strategy and execution of medical affairs, focusing on the launch of NEMLUVIO for Atopic Dermatitis and Prurigo Nodularis. Prior to this role, Akanksha held several key positions at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, including Senior Director for Rare Diseases, where notable product launches occurred in nephrology and hematology. Additional leadership roles at Sage Therapeutics and Sanofi Genzyme included overseeing the launch of significant therapies in immunology and neurology. With a strong educational foundation that includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Immunology and a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Akanksha has consistently contributed to the development and launch of innovative therapies throughout their career.
