Shady Kamal

Shady Kamal, PhD, is a Senior Microbiologist at Galderma since July 2020 and a member of the Working Party BET at the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) representing Sweden since January 2023. Additionally, Shady serves as an Affiliate Researcher and PhD candidate at Karolinska Institutet, focusing on the genetic traits of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Previous experiences include roles as a Research Assistant at Karolinska Institutet, a Visiting Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Heidelberg University, and an intern at the Swedish Research Council as well as the University of Basel. Shady's educational background includes a Master's degree in Biotechnology from The American University in Cairo and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Future University in Egypt.
