Juan Sebastian Luz Puerta

Juan Sebastian Luz Puerta has a diverse work experience, starting as an Electrical Engineer at Green Energy Systems Corp. in 2015, where they performed photovoltaic system designs and assisted with project management. Juan Sebastian then joined the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission as an Electrical Engineer in 2015, where they participated in reviewing NERC Reliability Standards and analyzed power system incidents. In 2019, they became a Project Developer at X-Elio, where they managed greenfield projects, obtained permits, negotiated with landowners, and maintained contact with local authorities. Currently, they have taken on the role of Project Developer Manager at Galehead Development, where they generate, evaluates, and prioritizes project opportunities, executes project development tollgate programs, and builds local relationships and stakeholder support for projects.

Juan Sebastian Luz Puerta attended the Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico from 2008 to 2014. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electrical Power, Telecommunications, and Controls.
