Mark Pellegrino

Mark Pellegrino has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Mark currently holds the position of Chief Compliance Officer, Counsel at Galen Mental Health. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at MAP Healthcare Consulting LLC. Mark also served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Surgery Partners, Inc from 2015 to 2019, where they were responsible for managing legal and compliance matters. Before that, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Kenosha Community Health Center Inc from 2014 to 2015. Mark has also worked as a Legal Counsel at the State of Illinois and held various positions at Rush University Medical Center, including Assistant Director Legal Affairs and Associate General Counsel. Mark started their career as an Associate at Anderson, Rasor & Partners, LLP and Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd.

Mark Pellegrino attended Marquette University Law School from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Doctor of Law degree (JD). Prior to that, they graduated from Lawrence University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Government. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained certifications in healthcare privacy compliance and healthcare compliance from the Compliance Certification Board in 2015 and 2014 respectively.
