Paul Märgner

Paul Märgner, PhD, serves as the Lead for Artificial Intelligence at Galenica since March 2022, where responsibilities include leading the internal AI/ML development team and supporting the Data & AI Strategy as a member of the Data & AI Governance Board. Prior to this role, Paul held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist and PhD Candidate at Universität Freiburg from August 2016 to February 2022, and as a Senior Researcher in Language Modeling at Nuance Communications from October 2012 to June 2016, where significant contributions included leading technology projects for language models in the Smart TV domain. Paul’s earlier experience includes roles at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley, as well as freelance work in Microsoft .NET development and programming. Paul holds a PhD in Computer Science from Universität Freiburg and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
