Bobby Ball

Bobby Ball has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and systems development. Bobby started their career at the Washington State Consolidated Technology Services in 2007 as a zOS Operator, where they were responsible for triaging system issues and coordinating maintenance. Bobby then moved on to become a zOS Systems Programmer and WebSphere Application Server Administrator, handling tasks such as configuration, troubleshooting, and migration. Bobby joined the Washington State Department of Corrections in 2012 as a WebSphere Application Server Architect and played a key role in migrating mission-critical applications to a distributed environment.

In 2013, Bobby joined Costco Wholesale as a Websphere Administrator before transitioning to Biomet and then Zimmer Biomet as a Senior WebSphere Engineer. Bobby later worked at Salesforce as a Senior Systems Engineer and then as a Lead Systems Engineer. Bobby also spent time at Amazon as a SysDev Engineer and at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Systems Development Engineer and Senior Systems Developer.

Most recently, Bobby became part of Galileo Financial Technologies as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and then transitioned to the role of Principal Software Engineer in 2022. Bobby Ball completed their education at Western Governors University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information and Network Security in the years 2010 to 2013. Bobby continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Information Security and Assurance between 2015 and 2017. In addition to their degrees, Bobby also holds certifications in Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council and A+, Network+, and Security+ from CompTIA. Bobby also has a certification in ITIL v3 Foundations, although the institution and date of obtaining are not specified.
