Jamila Schwartz

Jamila Schwartz currently serves as the Editorial Medical Director at Galileo since 2018, where responsibilities include designing content and care systems, as well as managing content and editorial teams. Jamila also reviews and interprets articles for Practical Reviews in Internal Medicine as a Reviewer since September 2021. Previous experience includes working as a Hospitalist at Mission Health from 2017 to 2020 and serving as a Locum Tenens Hospitalist with VISTA Staffing Solutions, Inc., from 2014 to 2017. Jamila began a medical career as a Resident Physician at The University of Connecticut Health Center from 2011 to 2014. Jamila Schwartz earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Davidson College.
