John Murphy

John Murphy is a seasoned production drafter specializing in creating construction drawings and 3D models for various events and studios. Currently employed at Gallagher Staging and Productions since August 2021, John excels in using Vectorworks for designing seating, platforms, towers, and stages. Previous experience includes roles as a Computer Aided Design Drafter at The Green Scene Landscaping and Pools and as a CAD Drafter at Event Scaffold Resources, where John produced detailed construction drawings for scaffold and truss systems using AutoCAD and Vectorworks. Additional positions held include drafting for structural systems at Greenscreen, Inc. and temporary structures at Brown United, along with CAD operations at Town & Home, Inc., HOPE Engineering, and Salerno/Livingston Architects, contributing significantly to various architectural and engineering projects.
