The Galloway School
Julie Justus is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic roles. Currently serving as the ML School Counselor at The Galloway School since January 2022, Julie also operates as a psychotherapist in private practice with East Atlanta Counseling Services since March 2018. Additionally, Julie has been working as an adolescent DBT psychotherapist at Hillside, Inc. since August 2015, where responsibilities included leading therapy groups and family sessions. Previous experience includes serving as a primary therapist at Skyland Trail and a clinical intern at Hall County DFCS, as well as volunteering with Rape Response Inc. Julie holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Georgia. Julie has also demonstrated leadership skills as the head coach of a gymnastics team at Gymsations since June 2009, where the focus has been on developing athletes aged 5-18.
