The Galloway School
Stuart Thurston Hendrick, M.A., M.A.T. is an experienced educator and substitute teacher currently working at multiple institutions, including The Alfred and Adele Davis Academy, The Weber School, The Galloway School, and Paideia School since September 2023, and has been a substitute teacher at Paideia School since January 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a reporter, writer, and photographer for the Marietta Daily Journal, and as a certified teacher with the City Schools of Decatur from July 2020 to December 2021. Stuart has also held positions as a part-time Cyclorama Ambassador at the Atlanta History Center and a tutor at Huntington Learning Center. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Georgia, a Master of Arts in Teaching in History from Georgia State University, and a Master of Arts in Anthropology of Religion also from Georgia State University, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Speech Communication from the UGA School of Public and International Affairs. Stuart is certified to teach various subjects, including History, Economics, English, and Special Education.
