Barry Carden

Barry Carden is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in management and partnership roles. Currently serving as Board Member and Managing Partner at Galloways Accounting since December 2022, Barry previously held the position of Managing Partner at Cardens Accountants & Business Advisers from April 2006 to December 2022. During this time, Barry successfully demerged the Hove office from Ashdown Hurrey, which had been a partner with for ten years, to provide comprehensive audit, accountancy, and business advisory services to SMEs. Barry began the career at Price & Company as a manager and subsequently joined Ashdown Hurrey, quickly advancing to partner within two years and becoming an equity partner in 2001, overseeing the growth of the Hove office. Educational background includes attendance at Kings Manor School, Shoreham from 1974 to 1984.
