Riada Asimovic Akyol

Riada Asimovic Akyol is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Consultant at Gallup since June 2023. Previously, Riada held roles at New Lines Magazine as both a Strategic Initiatives Editor and Contributing Editor from October 2021 to March 2023. Riada has extensive freelance journalism experience, having contributed to notable publications including Foreign Policy, Al Jazeera Media Network, Al-Monitor, The Atlantic, and The New York Times between 2013 and 2022. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations (in progress) from Galatasaray Üniversitesi, a Master of Science in Economics of Transition and European Integration from the University of Buckingham, and a Bachelor of Arts in World Politics and French from Hamilton College.
