Shane Mitchell

Shane Mitchell is a seasoned Project Manager at Glanua since February 2014, specializing in the design and management of Design-Build and Operate contracts for Water Supply Schemes, including intake works, rising mains, treatment plants, reservoirs, and distribution mains. Previously, as a Site Agent at Ward and Burke Construction Limited from January 2012 to February 2014, Shane was responsible for programming and planning work, organizing resources, liaising with clients, ensuring quality assurance, and monitoring health and safety regulations. Shane began a career in civil engineering with a work placement at the Mayo National Road Design Office in early 2009, focusing on land-take drawings for a major bypass project. Education includes a BEng honors degree in Civil and Transport Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University (2009-2011) and a BEng ordinary degree in Civil Engineering from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (2006-2009).
