Mike Albanese

Mike Albanese has had an extensive career in media and entrepreneurship. Mike began their career in 2003 as a Senior Account Manager at Hartle Media. In 2006, they joined Spin Magazine as an Advertising Director and then became Associate Publisher and Publisher, with P&L responsibility for website, events/branded content and the magazine. In 2008, they became Principal at iStyle Media. In 2012, they joined BUZZMEDIA as SVP Music, developing the BUZZ Music vertical around the SPIN brand post-acquisition and leading the creation of programming and events calendar. Mike also became President of the New York Observer in 2012. In 2020, they joined Launch Your Career\u2122 as a Media & Entrepreneurship Career Advisor. Most recently, in 2015, they became CEO of GALORE Media Inc.

Mike Albanese attended UC Santa Barbara from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sociology.
