Ana Casaca

Ana Casaca is a highly experienced professional in the realm of innovation and energy transformation, currently serving as the Global Head of Innovation at Galp since April 2020, where efforts focus on promoting sustainability in energy. With a diverse background, Ana has held various influential roles, including Director of Digital Transformation at Worten Portugal and Head of Innovation at José de Mello Group and Bondalti. Additionally, Ana contributes to academia as an External Board Member at NOVA School of Law and as an invited professor at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and Porto Business School. Ana is also an Expert Evaluator in Horizon Europe for the European Commission. Educational qualifications include a Microbiology degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, an MBA from Porto Business School, and a postgraduate program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.
