Nuno Moraes Bastos is a seasoned legal and compliance professional, currently serving as the Head of Corporate Secretary, Compliance & DPO (Global) at Galp. Previously, Nuno held significant positions at Banco Santander Consumer Portugal, including Administrador Executivo/Secretário Geral and Chief Legal and Compliance Officer. Additionally, Nuno worked at Zurich Insurance plc as General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer and at Banco Invest SA as Head of Legal and Compliance. Nuno's early career included roles as a Junior Lawyer, Lawyer, and Senior Lawyer at Simmons & Simmons Rebelo de Sousa. Nuno is actively pursuing education at Nova School of Business and Economics and has completed a course at the Instituto Português de Corporate Governance.
