Amy Altshul

Amy Altshul is currently the Director at Galvani Bioelectronics. Prior to this, they worked as Senior Licensing Counsel at Pfizer from December 2008 to March 2010 and as a Senior Associate at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher from January 2001 to December 2008.

Altshul has significant US and international corporate transactional and intellectual property experience, including advising senior management teams of Fortune 100 companies on business strategy and deal structure, leading the creation of legal partnerships and joint venture companies, and drafting and negotiating stock and asset purchases, product and company sales and acquisitions, mergers, and public offerings for companies providing products and services in the life sciences, technology, and financial services industries. Amy also has patent and intellectual property litigation experience, including management of significant actions in federal court.

At Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Altshul routinely managed large international and cross-functional teams on significant corporate transactions and corporate deal finance matters. Amy also provided corporate governance support to publicly traded companies in the US and UK.

Amy Altshul graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry. Amy then went on to earn their Doctor of Law (JD) from Cornell University.
