Paul Matteucci

Paul Matteucci serves as the Senior Director of Neural Interface Engineering at Galvani Bioelectronics, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of bioelectronic medicines through innovative implantable devices. With a substantial academic background, Paul holds a postdoctoral degree in Neuroprosthetics from UNSW, along with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova. Previous roles include management positions at Medtronic, where Paul focused on deep brain stimulation therapies, and Bionic Vision Australia, contributing to retinal neuroprosthetic research. Additionally, Paul actively participates in academia as a visiting fellow and adjunct lecturer at UNSW, teaching various courses related to bioengineering and neurostimulation.
