Derek Troy

Derek Troy is a Senior Executive Engineer at Galway County Council, serving in the Ballinasloe Municipal District since July 2023. Prior to this role, Derek held the position of Acting Senior Executive Engineer at Clare County Council for over two decades, from August 2000 to July 2023. Derek holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, which was completed in June 2022, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin, obtained in 2000.
