Joseph Matta

Joseph Matta has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. In 2013, they began their career at Trilantic Capital Partners, where they worked as an Associate and later as a Consultant until 2016. Following this, they joined Sunrise Strategic Partners, initially as a Consultant and then as the VP of Operations & Finance. In 2018, Joseph worked as a Consultant at Techstars before moving on to become an Advisory Board Member at Flock and Boundless Landscapes in 2020. In the same year, they founded FEWL Solutions, where they acted as the CEO until 2023. During this time, they also took on the role of Independent Consultant at FEWL Solutions. In 2021, Joseph became the CFO/COO at Chapul Farms, contributing to the transformation of food systems using insect biology. In 2022, they worked as an Independent Consultant at Available Power, and they are currently the VP of Investments at Galway Sustainable Capital, Inc., focusing on investing in sustainable solutions.

Joseph Matta's education history includes a Master's degree in the field of Sustainable Food Systems with supplements in Renewable, Sustainable Energy from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Boston College, attending from 2007 to 2011. Joseph also participated in an exchange program at Università Bocconi in 2009, focusing on Finance & Economics. Additionally, Joseph has obtained certifications in Landscape Finance, Landscape Governance, and Landscape Leadership from Wageningen University & Research in April 2020.
