Bashir Magomedov

Bashir Magomedov has a range of work experience starting from 2002. Bashir worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for System Programming of Russian Academy of Sciences from June 2002 to October 2004. From 2002 to 2007, they also worked as a Researcher at the Scientific Research Institute of System Analysis, where they developed a stroke types medical diagnostic system. At Advanced Chemistry Development, they were a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer, working on web-based applications for chemical and pharmacy manufacturers.

In 2008, Bashir joined KLA-Tencor as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of AcuShape, a Windows-based application for optical critical dimension measurements. Bashir then moved to HSBC in 2010, where they started as an Analyst Programmer and later became a Technical Lead. At HSBC, they led a distributed team and managed the development of a large-scale system for automated post-trade monitoring activities.

Bashir's next role was at Centtrip Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to developing a high-load foreign exchange trading system and a customer-facing website. Bashir then joined BNP Paribas as a Senior Developer Consultant and was responsible for developing several REST API microservices to support the bank's sales team.

Most recently, Bashir has been working at Galytix as the Chief Software Engineer starting from March 2020.

Bashir Magomedov's education history begins in 1988 when they attended Lyceum #39 for an unspecified period of time. Bashir went on to enroll at Dagestan State Technical University from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Continuing their academic journey, Bashir pursued a PhD from 2002 to 2006 at the Computing Centre of Russian Academy of Sciences, specializing in Computer Science.
