Josh Giegel

Josh Giegel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Josh is the Founder/CEO of Gambit since 2023. Josh served as a Strategic Advisor at Armada and a Venture Founder at Eclipse Ventures in 2022. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Virgin Hyperloop, including CEO and Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer, President of Engineering, Senior Vice President of Engineering, and VP of Design and Analysis. Josh also worked at Virgin Galactic as the Propulsion Stage Systems Lead. Earlier in their career, they served as a Senior Research & Development Systems Engineer at Echogen Power Systems and a Propulsion Engineer/Analyst at Space Exploration Technologies. Josh was a Research Assistant at Stanford University and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Penn State University. Josh started their career as a Fluid/Thermal Systems Intern at NASA Glenn Research Center.

Josh Giegel completed their B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Josh later pursued an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University from 2007 to 2008.
