Haroon Chowdry is a seasoned professional in research and analysis, currently serving as the Director of Evidence & Insights at GambleAware since November 2021, where leadership includes overseeing merged research teams to combat gambling harms in Great Britain. Previous roles include Director of Evidence at the Children's Commissioner for England, focusing on the experiences of vulnerable children, and Senior Economist at the Early Intervention Foundation, directing analytical work on children's risks and outcomes. Haroon has a strong background in education policy analysis from tenure as Senior Research Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. Haroon Chowdry holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from UCL.
