Leo Xu

Backend Software Engineer at Game Circus

Leo Xu has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Leo began their career as an Animal Researcher for the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Lab Animal Research. In 2012, they moved to the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health as a Research Specialist III. In 2014, they held two concurrent positions as a Medical Technologist for UPMC and a PHP Backend Developer for Beta Software Technologies (BST). In 2015, they joined Sandbox3 as a Software Developer, where they managed a small group of backend developers to build custom API, server, and database structure, code review, and help design workflow. In 2017, they moved to eTechnologies, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer and, in 2019, they began their current role as a Software Engineer for Game Circus.

Leo Xu attended North Allegheny High School from 2000 to 2003, where they studied AP Computer Science (C++, Pascal). Leo then went on to the University of Pittsburgh, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2003 to 2007. Leo also holds a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer certification from Microsoft.
