Kimberly Voll

Kimberly Voll, PhD, is a prominent figure in the gaming industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Studio at Brace Yourself Games since December 2021. Kimberly co-founded the Fair Play Alliance in April 2017, a global coalition of over 250 gaming companies dedicated to improving development practices. Previously, Kimberly was a co-founder and AI Developer at Stray Bombay Company, where the growth from inception to a 20+ person studio was achieved. Kimberly's extensive experience includes advising at Riot Games and serving as Principal Technical Designer, as well as leadership roles and contributions at Radial Games Corp. and Roadhouse Interactive. Kimberly has also held academic positions, such as Senior Faculty at the Centre for Digital Media. Education includes a PhD in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Cognitive Science from Simon Fraser University.
