Christian Kuehne

Christian Kuehne has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Christian currently holds the position of Executive Vice President - Athletic Organizations at Game Plan, a role they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Athletic Organizations from April 2021 to April 2022. Christian also had a brief role as the VP of Customer Success from February 2021 to April 2021. Christian previously worked as the Director of Customer Success at Game Plan from January 2017 to February 2021, where they played a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Before joining Game Plan, they worked as the Account and Recruitment Director from May 2016 to January 2017.

Prior to their work at Game Plan, Christian gained experience in the collegiate sports industry. Christian worked as an Assistant Coach for Men's Tennis at East Carolina University from August 2014 to May 2016. In this role, they assisted the Head Coach in various aspects of the tennis program, including recruiting, match scheduling, event planning, and marketing. Christian also managed social media marketing activities for the ECU Men's Tennis team and acted as a liaison between the university, athletic department, student newspaper, booster organizations, and the team.

Before their time at East Carolina University, Christian worked as a Graduate Assistant for Men's Tennis and Seminole High Performance Tennis at Florida State University from August 2012 to August 2014. Christian was responsible for managing event management and marketing efforts for the Florida State Men's Tennis team and Seminole High Performance Tennis. Christian also served as the Tournament Director for several prestigious tournaments during this time.

Christian's work experience also includes an internship as an Events Intern at IMG Academy in 2012, where they gained valuable insights into event management in the sports industry. Christian also worked as a Marketing and Events Intern at 1. FSV Mainz 05 e.V. in 2011, where they contributed to marketing and event coordination efforts.

Prior to their professional career, Christian worked as a Tennis Coach and Tournament Supervisor at Tennisverband Rheinland E.V. in 2010, where they gained hands-on experience in coaching and managing tennis tournaments.

Christian Kuehne has a strong educational background with degrees in both sport management and business administration. Christian obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Leisure Studies with a concentration in Sport and Recreation Administration from the University of South Alabama from 2009 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from Florida State University from 2012 to 2013.

In 2015, Christian pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from East Carolina University. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career, including "Improving Your Listening Skills," "Daniel Pink on Motivation," "Managing Virtual Teams," and "Strategic Thinking" from LinkedIn, obtained in December 2021, as well as a "Google Adwords" certification from Google, obtained in July 2015.
