Jason Seabaugh has a diverse background in the gaming industry, with their most recent role being an Art Director at Game Taco since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Tech Artist at Game Taco from November 2021 to March 2022.
From 2015 to 2021, they were employed by Kung Fu Factory as a Technical Artist and UI Programmer.
Before joining Kung Fu Factory, Jason worked at Janus Research Group from 2011 to 2015. Initially hired as a Senior Artist and character animator, they eventually took on additional roles such as Art Lead, UI designer and programmer, level designer, cinematic director, and prop builder. Jason primarily focused on UI art and programming in Unity 5 for mobile devices during this time.
Prior to Janus Research Group, Jason was an Art Director at Scientifically Proven from 2010 to 2011, where they recruited and trained junior talent and established art asset pipelines for multiple projects.
Additionally, they have held various roles at Collision, Floor 84 Studio, and 7 Studios throughout their career, contributing to projects as a Contract Level Artist, Artist, and Environment Artist. Jason has experience in creating and handling various art elements and generating lightmaps for music games, as well as defining art asset pipelines for projects.
Jason Seabaugh earned a BS degree in Video Game Art and Design from Westwood College, LA Branch, where they attended from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained an AA degree in Specialized Technology with a focus on Computer Animation from The Art Institutes between 1999 and 2002.
