Austin Pruitt, P.E.

Austin Pruitt, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the field of geotechnical engineering. Austin currently holds the position of Director of Geotechnical Engineering at GameChange Solar. In this role, they manage a team of engineers responsible for reviewing site information and ensuring that design risks are communicated effectively. Austin oversees the collection of additional geotechnical data and finalizes foundation designs for the company's solar racking structures. Austin also collaborates with internal teams and Solar EPCs to communicate cost-effective foundation solutions.

Prior to joining GameChange Solar, Austin served as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at the same company from February 2020 to August 2021. Before their employment at GameChange Solar, they worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Terracon from August 2017 to February 2020.

Austin has also gained experience as a Staff Engineer at GeoConcepts Engineering, Inc., a Terracon Company, from February 2017 to July 2017. Furthermore, they worked as a Staff Engineer at Schnabel Engineering from September 2015 to January 2017.

Austin began their career as a Lab Assistant at USDA-ARS from May 2014 to August 2015.

Austin Pruitt, P.E. pursued their education at the University of Mississippi, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering. Austin attended the university from 2010 to 2015. After completing their degree, Austin obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from NCEES in February 2021.
