The Position:

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer on the Computer Vision team, you will focus on integrating advanced computer vision capabilities into our mobile app. You will work closely with computer vision engineers and product teams to embed these features seamlessly into user workflows, particularly on iOS devices. You will own the process of bringing models built by our team into the app, from initial iterations to full-scale integrations. You will join a new, rapidly growing team at GameChanger where there are exciting opportunities to work with senior leadership and lay the foundations for the future of computer vision in our product and in our engineering toolset.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the integration of computer vision capabilities into mobile applications, with a primary focus on iOS development
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure solutions that incorporate machine learning models into user workflows
  • Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to ensure seamless, maintainable integrations across the stack
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver reliable, user-centered solutions that align with business goals
  • Engineer robust software solutions with a strong emphasis on high-quality development standards, ensuring reliability, and maintainability

Who You Are:

  • Flexible software engineer who thrives on owning projects end-to-end, learning new technologies, and applying innovative and impactful solutions
  • Proven ability to grow and maintain a codebase that supports a large number of users and engineers
  • Track record of successful mobile application development on iOS devices
  • Strong background in software optimization tools and concepts such as profiling, memory management, and multi-threading
  • Experience collaborating with product teams to deliver robust and targeted user-focused solutions
  • Expertise in writing scalable, high-performance server-side and client-side code
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to communicate solutions clearly
  • Strong background in owning and delivering challenging technical projects
  • Enjoys building a collaborative atmosphere to create solutions to complex problems
  • High level understanding of computer vision and machine learning concepts a plus, but not required

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong expertise in mobile application development (Swift/iOS required, Kotlin/Android a plus but not required)
  • 1+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript for backend systems
  • Experience with Python for tasks like model integration, conversion, or on-device deployment preparation (i.e. Core ML) is preferred
  • Experience with production machine learning systems or AWS-deployed systems is preferred

The target salary range for this position is between $145,000 and $185,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
