Luis Del Real has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. In 2021, they were a Character Designer for Harmon Brothers, where they designed for the kids show 'Tuttle Twins' and created sketches, finished lines, color, and turn arounds for production. Luis also worked as a Character Designer / Concept Artist for Gamefam, where they designed new characters with dynamic personalities, visually developed props/environments/characters/assets, created illustrations for UI/UX Icons/Thumbnails, and worked with art leads with continuous communication and updates with fast-paced/tight deadlines. In 2019, they worked as a CQC Software Compliance for BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. From 2017-2021, they were self-employed as a Freelance Artist. In 2017, they worked as a 2D/3D Data and Touch Up for Apple, where they performed analytical, methodical, and QA-related tasks, navigated through 2D/3D environments, identified and recorded problems, conveyed problems to other team members, worked with large data sets, prioritized competing demands, had excellent verbal and written communication, and learned new software quickly. In 2016, they worked as a Tech Support for Blackdog Enterprises, where they provided hockey web streaming technical support for Onsite casters and camera crews. Luis also worked as an Artist Intern for SJSU collaboration with UCSC, where they created background paintings and assets for a mobile app game, worked with a director and art leads to guide the project, and created 2D animations and pre-production concept art. Additionally, they worked as an Artist Intern for SJSU, Adobe Research sponsored project, where they created backgrounds for animation, worked in tandem with art leads, created concept designs for props and characters, and created animation assets and characters for final compositing. Finally, in 2008, they worked as a Racker for University Plating Co.

Luis Del Real attended San Jose City College from 2009 to 2011, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies. Luis then continued their education at San Jose State University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animation and Illustration.
