Courtney Spillman

Courtney Spillman is an experienced professional in the gaming and education sectors. Currently serving as the Frame Fatales Event Lead at Games Done Quick since March 2022, Courtney oversees an all-women speedrunning community. As a Twitch partner since April 2020, Courtney streams under the channel name frozenflygone, focusing on speedrunning the indie game Celeste and playing Super Mario World fangames, amassing over 6,000 followers. Additionally, Courtney has been a Math and Reading Tutor at Kumon North America, Inc. since May 2016, providing virtual tutoring for students aged 3-13. Previously, Courtney worked as an Educational Researcher with Crippen Research Group from January 2018 to March 2022, receiving funding from the UF University Scholars Program. Educationally, Courtney earned a Master of Education in Science Teacher Education from the University of Florida in May 2020 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Education from the same institution in 2019.
