Rachel Jackson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in administrative and managerial roles across various industries. Currently serving as an Executive Assistant/Business Support Officer at the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority since January 2025, Rachel plays a pivotal role in preparing Queensland and Oceania for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Prior to this, Rachel worked as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager at FloodMapp, a tech company focused on flood intelligence, from May 2022 to January 2025. Rachel's career began with management positions at Offices First and Milton Business Centre, overseeing sales, HR, and marketing, and included earlier experience as a Front Desk Receptionist at The Lion Richlands. Rachel holds a Queensland Certificate of Education from St Johns Anglican College and further education from Griffith University.

The Games Venue and Legacy Delivery Authority (GVLDA) will ensure Queensland, Australia and Oceania are ready to successfully host the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We will maximise the opportunity and legacy of hosting the Games, for the benefit of all of Queensland. The Authority will deliver new and upgraded venues for use before, during and long after the Games, as we work towards a more inclusive, sustainable and connected society.
