Rich Berman

Rich has been involved in youth hockey for over 12 years as a parent, coach, trainer and convenor with the Newmarket Redmen and York Simcoe Express AAA hockey clubs. He has also coached both boys and girls High School teams, taking the Newmarket HS Boys to provincial championships in 2005. Rich has also been involved with the Newmarket Redbirds Lacrosse Association as a rep coach for 10 years and on the executive board as the Rep Director.

Rich graduated from engineering at the University of Toronto. He worked as an engineer, and for many years as a High School Physics teacher before leaving to start GameSheet Inc. with his long-time friend, Mike Kensit.

As co-founders and partners, Rich and Mike share in strategic decision-making at GameSheet. Rich oversees GameSheet’s daily operations, sets the strategic vision, and ensures the skates are kept sharp and the eyes are always on the goal.
