Tony Blum

Tony Blum has worked in a variety of roles in the data science field. In 2023, they began working as a Sr Data Scientist for Gametime. Prior to this, they were a Sr Data Scientist at Venmo from 2018-2023, a Data Scientist at Nestio from 2018, a Reporting and Insights Analyst at Spotify from 2016-2018, an Analyst at Counsyl from 2014-2016, a Software Engineering Intern at HealthTap from 2013-2014, and a Portfolio Management Intern at Torchlight Investors from 2012-2013. During their time at HealthTap, they implemented a search feature to allow the support team to search by non-unique identifiers. During their time at Torchlight Investors, they analyzed prepayment protection data for Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities, which were used to develop a more accurate method for pricing bonds.

Tony Blum attended Harvard University from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Economics. Tony also obtained two certifications from DataCamp, Statistical Thinking in Python (Part 1) and Statistical Thinking in Python (Part 2).
