Amritha Ruppert has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Amritha is currently working as an Electric Model Development Engineer at Gamma Technologies since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Engineer at Pareto from April 2021 to October 2021.
Amritha's work experience also includes roles at Purdue University, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant from June 2020 to August 2020 and from January 2019 to May 2019. Amritha was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2019 to May 2020 and from August 2018 to December 2018. In addition, they worked as a Graduate Lecturer, taking full responsibility for teaching ECE 202 (Linear Circuits Analysis II) to undergraduate engineering students during the summer of 2019. Amritha's time at Purdue University began in August 2016 as a Graduate Research Assistant and lasted until August 2018.
Before joining Purdue University, Amritha worked as a Scientist/Engineer at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO from August 2011 to August 2016.
Amritha Ruppert completed their PhD in Automatic Control (ECE) from Purdue University, spanning from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Avionics from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, which they pursued from 2007 to 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Amritha Ruppert has also obtained several certifications. In April 2020, they completed the Applied Data Science Specialization and the IBM Data Science Specialization from Coursera. In March 2020, they obtained certifications in Data Analysis with Python, Databases and SQL for Data Science, Python for Data Science and AI, Data Science Methodology, Data Visualization with Python, Introduction to Data Science, Machine Learning with Python, Open Source Tools for Data Science, and What is Data Science? from Coursera. In February 2020, they completed the Technical Support Fundamentals certification, and in January 2020, they finished the certifications for The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking and Operating Systems and You: Becoming a Power User, all from Coursera.
