Luhong Wu

Solver Developer - CFD Coupling at Gamma Technologies

Luhong Wu has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. In 2016, Luhong worked as an Undergraduate Researcher and Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant at Dalian University of Technology. During this time, Luhong conducted research on porous mediums and contributed to the development of self-healing hydrogels for tissue engineering. Luhong also worked on missile design and testing, solving technical challenges and writing a technical report for China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation.

In 2017, Luhong joined the University of Arizona as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. As a Research Assistant, Luhong focused on flow separation control and designed a complex mathematical model for turbulent compressible mixing layers. As a Teaching Assistant, Luhong assisted in the delivery of graduate-level math classes and fundamental fluid dynamics courses.

Most recently, Luhong joined Gamma Technologies, LLC in 2020 as a Solver Developer - CFD Coupling, where they are responsible for developing solvers and coupling methods for computational fluid dynamics applications.

Overall, Luhong Wu has gained experience in research, teaching, and engineering roles, demonstrating a strong background in fluid dynamics and engineering analysis.

Luhong Wu completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, Luhong pursued further education at the University of Arizona, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
