Jason Carter

Jason Carter has a diverse work experience in the field of tax and treasury. Jason is currently working as the Group Head of Tax & Treasury at Gamma, a position they started in October 2022. Before that, they worked at Dyson as the Senior Manager International Tax from September 2020 to October 2022, and as the Group Tax Manager from September 2019 to September 2020. Additionally, Jason served as the Treasurer (volunteer) at Volunteer Centre Swindon from January 2018 to August 2020. Jason also worked at Matthew Clark as a Tax Accountant/Tax Strategy Review from July 2018 to September 2019. Prior to that, they held various roles at Nationwide Building Society, including Lead: confidential project work from February 2017 to September 2017, Head of Group Stress Testing - Controls from July 2015 to February 2017, Head of Recovery and Resolution Planning from November 2012 to June 2015, and Senior Tax Manager from April 2004 to October 2012. Jason began their career at PwC as a Tax Manager from April 2000 to March 2004 and worked as an Auditor at Moore Stephens International from July 1997 to March 2000.

Jason Carter attended Moulton Secondary School from 1987 to 1994, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. After completing their secondary education, they went on to the University of Wales, Aberystwyth from 1994 to 1997. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Honors, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Jason'sdegree was awarded a First-Class honor. In addition to their formal education, Jason also studied towards the ICAEW Qualification at Caer Rhun Hall in North Wales, although the specific time frame for this qualification is unknown.
