Stefanos Agelastos

Stefanos Agelastos has a diverse work experience starting from 2005 onwards. Stefanos started working in the Horeca and Fashion industry and held various positions until September 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Project Intern at ChaseRace, where they utilized visual storytelling and Design Thinking methods to create an interactive VR marketing experience. Stefanos also worked as a Project Intern at Københavnerture/Copenhagen this Way, where they collaborated with multimedia designers to develop a prototype AR solution for guided tours.

In 2019, Stefanos joined Mono Solutions as a Junior DevOps Engineer, and later became a DevOps Engineer. In this role, their areas of expertise included SRE, BGP and bird, PowerDNS and DNSsec. Stefanos played a key role in migrating a core, mission-critical service from a monolithic application to a set of extendable microservices. Stefanos also conducted infrastructure and application discovery and effectively communicated their findings through visual diagrams and technical documentation.

Most recently, Stefanos joined GAN Integrity in February 2023 as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. No end date has been provided for this role.

Stefanos Agelastos completed their Bachelor's degree in Software Development from KEA - Københavns Erhvervsakademi, where they studied from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from the same institution, studying from 2016 to 2019. In their earlier education, Stefanos attended the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued two years of studies in Physics. Stefanos completed their high school education at Rizarios Ecclesiastical School from 2002 to 2005, focusing on general high school subjects in both humanities and technology fields.
