Cecil Pang

Cecil Pang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data architecture and AI engineering. Currently serving as VP of Data Architecture at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK since November 2021, Cecil has demonstrated expertise in integrating data science workflows within organizational frameworks. Previously, as Co-founder and CTO at Open Art Source, Cecil played a pivotal role in securing pre-seed funding by developing a generative AI prototype. At Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., Cecil successfully established the Enterprise Data Science group and built a team of 15 data scientists and Machine Learning engineers. Earlier career experiences include significant roles at HBO, where Cecil was the VP & Chief Architect, spearheading the creation of foundational architecture for mission-critical systems. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Systems Science at Binghamton University, Cecil also holds a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University.
