Adam Duce has held a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2000. From 2000 to 2006, they were a Self-Employed Technical Consultant and Website Developer, providing IT services to small businesses. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Database Manager/Administrator for Branksome Hall. From 2010 to 2016, they were a Senior Enterprise Architect and Database Developer for AGDATA. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Senior Database Architect for Polycon Industries Inc. Most recently, they have been a Director of Data Architecture and Architect of Cloud Data for Igloo Software since 2019. In this role, they have lead several projects to improve performance and stability of platform data infrastructure, co-led conceptual development of new services and infrastructure, and designed and implemented a scripting framework to standardize database build and deployment packaging.

Adam Duce has a Bachelor of Mathematics & Information Technology from Western Sydney University, which they completed between 2004 and 2006. Prior to this, they obtained a Computer Programmer/Analyst Diploma (3Yr) from Conestoga College between 2000 and 2003. Adam also holds a number of certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org (obtained in June 2022), Exam 462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Databases from Microsoft (obtained in December 2015), Exam 461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 from Microsoft (obtained in December 2014), MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft (obtained in December 2014), and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance (obtained in December 2015).
